Our team in Chandler currently has an opening for a Operations Coordinator

YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Support Branch Operations Manager as necessary to keep the department running smoothly. This may include such diverse tasks as batch generation, spreadsheet creation and maintenance, inventory management, production prioritization, operations, and worker prioritization. Although this position will not have any employees reporting directly to them, they will have some supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the Operations Manager.

Description:

* Create and receive orders in the BUS for designated raw materials as needed

* Work with Purchasing to ensure Product codes, Batches, SDS and COA information is updated and ready to use when necessary.

* Maintain 100% compliance with PPE requirements of role, including, but not limited to, proper use, selection, inspections, donning and doffing of required PPE.

* Elevate supply and demand issues when appropriate to the Branch Operations Manager and Operations Supervisor to assist in the resolution of issues.

* Dispatch Brenntag drivers and preferred carriers to arrange for pick-ups and deliveries when necessary.

* Assign trailers for loading and deliveries with correct products and quantities as specified by customers.

* Ensure the use of most cost-effective methods of transportation when timing permits.

* Work with Operations manager to evaluate and cross train operators in all facets and activities. Maintain qualifications and licenses as required.

* Ensure the highest level of product quality and packaging, verify inbound and outbound product.

* Maintain facility and Equipment per SOPs and Branch Operations Managers directive.

* Represent Brenntag Pacific in a professional manner.

* Observe, follow and enforce all Brenntag Pacific Policies and Procedures.

* Attend all required training when scheduled unless absent from work.

YOUR PROFILE

Education and Experience:

* High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required, and two years related experience and/or training.

* Bachelor's Degree from a four year college or university is a plus

* Ability to read, write and speak the English language.

* Possess a thorough understanding of the BUS computer system

* Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.

* Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.

* Possess good organizational skills and ability to prioritize work to meet time-sensitive deadlines.

* Ability to define problems, collect data, establish and draw valid conclusions.

* Possess excellent written/oral communication skills.

* Willingness to work overtime or weekends as needed.
