Breakthrough New York is a tuition-free, ten-year program committed to helping high-potential students from low-income families achieve economic mobility through the transformative power of education. Beginning in middle school we provide the academic preparation, guidance, and mentoring our students need to apply to and succeed at competitive high schools. In high school, we focus on skill development, application assistance, and enrichment opportunities to prepare students to gain entry to and succeed at rigorous four-year colleges. We support students during college to ensure graduation and... career readiness. Throughout the program, we build a lasting community that leads to an active alumni network.
