Position Overview: As an Early Head Start Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a profound impact on the lives of infants and toddlers in our program. Your responsibilities will focus on providing high-quality early childhood education and care, building strong relationships with families, and fostering a nurturing atmosphere that promotes growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities tailored to the unique needs of infants and toddlers.
  • Create a safe and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and discovery.
  • Observe and assess each child's development and progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
  • Build strong partnerships with families through open communication, home visits, and parent-teacher conferences.
  • Provide individualized support for children with diverse needs and abilities.
  • Maintain accurate records of child observations, assessments, and developmental milestones.
  • Collaborate with a team of educators and specialists to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest best practices in infant and toddler care and early childhood education.
  • Ensure compliance with Early Head Start regulations and program standards.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Infant-Toddler Child Development Associate (CDA) credential.
  • Passion for working with infants and toddlers, with a deep understanding of early childhood development.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with both children and families.
  • Ability to create a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment for infants, toddlers, and their families.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Previous experience in infant and toddler care and education is preferred.
