The Night Floor Tech Lead is responsible for the leadership of their employees ensuring that quality services are provided. Lead a staff of Floor Techs who perform floor tech and general cleaning tasks at a specific work location. Floor maintenance and cleaning at the work location includes dusting, cleaning floors, emptying trash, cleaning restrooms, etc. The Night Floor Tech Lead is also responsible for the care and repair of company-owned property (e.g., vacuums and other products used by employees at the assigned work location).

Night Floor Tech Lead Responsibilities:

• Supervises floor tech staff
• Walk the floor to review work performed by employees in the executive offices and other areas as designated by manager
• Check special work requests or issues as requested by client and ensure that the request has been completed as requested
• Trains employees on how to perform the functions of the job
• Trains employees on safety procedures
• Reports workplace accidents
• Advises manager of workplace issues/ concerns regarding employees and equipment
• Additional duties may be assigned as needed and requested by the client and/or the Account Manager

Essential Functions of the Night Floor Tech Lead:

• Oversee staff of two or more employees
• Provide training to new employees and orientation as required.
• Inspect work performed to ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Monitor time reporting transactions.
• Inspect equipment to ensure it is in proper working condition.
• Monitor safety practices of staff to ensure policies/procedures are followed.
• Distribute and monitor supply usage.
• Reassign work assignments as required.

• Performs discipline procedures of employees for poor work performance, attendance, etc.
• Handles employee work schedules
• Reviews time-off requests

• Floor Care experience.

• Strip, scrub and wax floors.
