AgriScience Labs is Hiring an Analytical Chemist Near Denver, CO

AgriScience Laboratories is one of Colorado’s most established Marijuana Testing Facilities dedicated to accurate, affordable and timely testing.

We are currently looking to hire an Analytical Chemist. The ideal candidate will be able to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and focus. This position is responsible for performing analytical chemistry tests that support the release of intermediates and finished products.

Key Requirements:

· Minimum 1 year in a regulated Lab environment preferred 1-2 years’ experience

· BS in Natural Sciences

· GC and/or LC equipment experience

· Marijuana Enforcement Division Badge Capable (required by first day of work)

· Availability 9-5 Monday - Friday

Key Responsibilities:

· Maintain accurate and complete test records

· Responsible for testing supply inventory and ordering

· Self-Starter

· Attention to detail a must

· Flexibility with the ability to work alone in a changing priorities environment

· Enter test results in the Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).

· Maintain sample logs on a daily basis to ensure timely testing and tracking of all samples.

· Maintain Instrument Usage and Calibration Logs based on instrument usage during the preparation and testing of samples.

· Maintain current knowledge of regulatory and industry standards, trends and advancements.

· Preparation, review and approval of sampling matrix and hold time schedule

Compensation is $40,000-$50,000 annually.
