Linde is Hiring an Instrumentation and Controls Systems Engineer Near Tonawanda, NY
- As an Advanced Control Systems (ACS) Engineer, you will be working with project teams and mentors on the development of the primary control system logic, process, hardware specification, and related drawings/specifications for projects within operating facilities in the US
- You will have the opportunity to develop control schemes for a variety of air separation and cryogenic liquefaction projects
- You should demonstrate high levels of design and leadership capability, a focus on safety, strong verbal and written communication skills, a team-oriented focus, and the ability to find innovative technical solutions
- As an ACS Engineer, you will design and execute the control system functions for facilities, including system architecture, I/O layout, networking, programming, documentation, and developing Human Machine Interface graphics as part of your role
- In addition, you will provide control system loop check and troubleshooting field support during the commissioning and startup phases of projects
- You will collaborate with project team members to implement control system strategies which ensure cost effective plant process control
- Also, you will assist with estimating ACS engineering hours and hardware costs, for both projects and proposal development
