Youth Development Professional
Duties:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in a daycare setting
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and programs that promote learning and development
- Incorporate theater, early childhood education, Christian counseling, tutoring, behavior management, babysitting, childhood development, and sports coaching into daily programming
- Foster positive relationships with children and their families
- Supervise and engage children in various activities to promote social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Assist with homework and provide academic support as needed
- Implement behavior management strategies to ensure a positive and inclusive environment
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive and enriching program
Experience:
- Previous experience working with children or students in a similar capacity
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff members
- Ability to adapt to the needs of individual children and create personalized learning experiences
- Passion for working with youth and helping them reach their full potential
