Prof. Catherine Hoar’s research group in the Department of Engineering at Boston College is seeking a postdoctoral scholar to support interdisciplinary projects in the areas of wastewater surveillance, sustainable wastewater treatment, and the removal of emerging contaminants from wastewater. As part of these projects, the postdoctoral fellow will design and conduct experiments applying culture-based microbiological methods as well as techniques in molecular biology and analytical chemistry.
This is a 1-year appointment with the possibility for renewal. Preferred start date: July 2024. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
