Boss LTR is Hiring a Shop Mechanic Near Geismar, LA
Skills & Requirements:
- Perform routine and operational maintenance to ensure that equipment continues to run according to manufacturer’s specifications
- Perform equipment inspections to identify potential problems and safety concerns
- Record maintenance and repair work performed on equipment
- Ensures production and support equipment are functioning properly
- Performs basic electrical duties (replace motors, switches, PE, etc..)
- Analyze and Diagnose (troubleshoot) equipment malfunctions or failures
- Able to read schematics (both hydraulic and electrical)
- Perform annual certifications and inspections
- Test and operate engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
- Clean units and components
- Other duties may be assigned
- 3 years experience in mechanically diagnosing, repairing and maintaining various types of equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Capable of accomplishing task independently without direct supervision
- Strong work ethics with a commitment to quality
- A history of safe work habits
- Maintains a great attitude toward work
- High School Diploma or GED
- Driver’s License
