**Job Description**

Machine various components to print specification including sourcing of materials, developing machining processes, creating CNC programs and providing measurement results.

**Qualifications**

Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Tool-making apprenticeship completion or 5 years toolmaking machining experience required.

Journeyman status highly desired

Computer aided machining a plus

Minimum four years of experience in precision machining, including turning, milling, ID (Internal Diameter), OD (Outer Diameter) & surface grinding, writing CNC programs

Must be able to communicate effectively with supervision and other personnel with the ability to create clear technical instructions

Familiar with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel)

Must be able to function in a noisy and fast paced environment

Demonstrates self-initiative

Expert in various measurement tools, ID, OD and depth micrometers, height gage, manual CMM (Coordinate Measurement Machine),

Expert in prints including geometric dimensions

Working knowledge in materials, tools steels, aluminum and stainless steels

Experience in material heat treating including tempering.

Must demonstrate mechanical proficiency, leadership ability, and teamwork

Must be willing to work on alternate shifts and must demonstrate the ability to adapt to changes

Must be flexible to work other shifts for training, coaching, projects and travel as needed
