In your role, you will

Adhere to General Work Requirements
Perform hidden damage inspection
Ensure all paperwork is complete and complies with engineering specifications, manufacturers maintenance manual, and Repair Station/Quality Control Manual prior to end-of-shift
Perform service inspections of aircraft or components in accordance with applicable parts of chapter 14 CFR (FARs) and the manufacturer's maintenance manual
Assist other inspectors in the performance of their duties within area(s) of qualification
Perform the Preliminary Inspection upon arrival of an aircraft at the facility prior to the commencement of maintenance or inspection.
Inspect aircraft maintenance, repairs and alterations performed by Aircraft Maintenance Technicians to ensure the corrective action was completed
Inspect all flight control systems maintenance
Inspect fuel panels, final floorboard installation, final nose cowl closing, final aft fuselage closing, and final circuit breaker panel installation and provide "OK to Install"
Inspect engine installation and provide "Installation OK"
Train, coach and mentor employees in the performance of duties in area(s) of qualification
Provide data to customers as requested
Adhere to General Work Requirements as required in coordination with Quality leadership
Perform conformity inspections of engineering documents to most current design per assigned aircraft.
Weigh aircraft using the pre-weight checklist
Initiate RED's and RFE's as required
Research aircraft drawings and technical data
Update Maintenance Manuals with revisions as required

As our ideal candidate

You typically have 5 years' aircraft maintenance experience
You have 2 to 3 years' inspection experience - preferred
You typically have 1 year aircraft maintenance experience with Bombardier business jet aircraft - preferred
You have the ability to read and interpret engineering documents and maintenance manuals
You have an Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license or appropriately rated Repairman Certificate.
You have basic knowledge of SAP
You have working knowledge of business aircraft inspection programs, for example, final close out procedures, engine installations, and in-process inspections
You have working knowledge of business aircraft maintenance, preventative maintenance, rebuilding, and alteration as related to inspection buy-off
You have working knowledge of Repair Station/Quality Control Manual
