The Air Export Agent - DFW is looking to add a full time Air Export Agent to its growing team in Dallas. We are looking for a dynamic individual to kick start their career.

Responsibilities"

• Plan and direct flow of air/ocean traffic moving to overseas destinations.
• Ship freight, prepares documentation and way-billing, assesses charges, and collects fee for shipments.
• Negotiates with domestic customers, as intermediary for foreign customers, to resolve problems and arrive at mutual agreements.
• Examine invoices and shipping manifests for conformity to tariff and customs regulations.
• Prepares reports of transactions to facilitate billing of shippers and foreign customers.
• Corresponds with foreign network.
• Is responsible for moving shipments on time.
• Correct EFO's if requested by the supervisor.
• Assist Air Export Manager in implementing and obtaining organization polices and goals of the department.
• Provides for transportation of exported goods from port to final destinatinon.

Two-Three years related experience and/or training. Advanced education a plus.

Ability to provide exceptional customer service to clients

Excellent organization skills and be a proactive problem solver.

Ability to manage own time and priorities workload to meet internal and external expectations.

Must be proficient in all arears of Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Good interpersonal and teamworking skills required.
