Southern Pride Custom Cabinets is seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker Helper/ Shop Helper.

Job Responsibilities/Description:

• Ideal candidate must be able to work in a team environment where cross training is encouraged and desired
• Job entails entry to mid level general shop helper/ labor with motivation to advance in woodworking and tools, operation of woodworking, finishing machinery, various lacquer /paint products and commitment to following safe operation practices
• Prefer applicant have experience in operating or be willing to learn how to operate some of the tools listed, but not necessarily all the tools listed: Includes operation of power saws, routers, pneumatic fasteners, power drills, sanders ,finish spraying equipment and other tools used in woodworking and cabinetry making
• Ability to read a tape measure and other measuring devices is required
• Additional training will be provided as required
• Assist with daily clean up, assembly, delivery and installation of cabinets as required
• Performs other minor duties as assigned and related to position and team goals

Job Requirements:

• HSD or GED equivalent
• Experience in woodworking and cabinet building not required, but is a plus
• Dependability and attention to detail and follow through is crucial
• Must be able to lift (above 70lbs), bend and work on your feet for extended periods of time
• Must provide own transportation and valid driver's license
• Must pass pre-employment drug test and have clean background record
• Full time position (Hours vary based on season/demand- typically M-Th) , with optional benefits; pay is commensurate with experience
