Position Summary:
The Weekend Shift Assistant Production Manager, in conjunction with 1st Shift Management, leads and coordinates production employees in a manufacturing and assembly environment regarding the construction of modular units on the weekend shift with occasional additional days as needed. This position helps to plan, execute and assign work, implements policies and procedures as well as identifies and implements process improvements. This position will also help monitor the overall safety of the facility operation resources.
Essential Functions/Job Responsibilities -

1. Works closely with management personnel to establish production and quality control standards, develop budget and cost controls, and to obtain data regarding types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates of products ordered.
2. This role will work closely with Crew Leads and serves as a resource to them, as needed.
3. Assist in planning and directing production activities and establishes production priorities for products in keeping with effective operations and cost factors.
4. Helps to coordinate production activities with procurement, maintenance, and quality control activities to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment.
5. Reviews and analyzes production, quality control, maintenance, and operational reports to determine causes of nonconformity with product specifications and operating or production problems.
6. Oversees, schedules, and coordinates daily work assignments of weekend shift staff.
7. Responsible for continuous improvement related to jobs in process and on completion to ensure products meet safety and work quality expectations.
8. Responsible for the inspection of the production facility for safety hazards or code violations; and responds to exigent regulatory health and safety inspection violations as needed.
9. Responsible for keeping accurate inventory of all tools and equipment.
10. Reviews and implements improvements to procedures to increase efficiency and reduce operating expenses.
11. Assists in training Ginosko Modular employees on policies and procedures, including safety procedures.
12. Responsible for performance management duties of assigned staff.
13. Assess and assign work orders to appropriate staff, including offering training or assistance to complete the task if necessary.
14. Develop work goals for staff supervised and provide related performance feedback.
15. Responsible for the recruitment, interview, and selection for directly supervised position vacancies.
16. Responsible for being a workplace safety champion to ensure staff knows and follows safe work practices and policies. Always adheres to safety protocols and follows policies and procedures.

1. Regular and predictable attendance within the Ginosko-assigned facilities.
2. Comply with applicable OSHA regulations.
3. Other duties as assigned by Management.

Education/Certification/Licensing/Experience Requirements:

1. Education : Advanced education in management, construction or industrial engineering preferred.
2. Experience : At least five (5) years of similar work experience in a supervisory capacity including experience that combines managerial, technical, and financial expertise, prior experience in construction and previous experience working with diverse populations preferred.
3. Certificates & Licenses : Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record. Certificate of personal auto liability insurance.
4. Other Requirements : Strong stakeholder service skills. Exceptional dedication to dependability and punctuality. Strong work ethic. Ability to engage a team toward a common mission. Additional abilities required:
   • Ability to read blueprints and other construction drawings.
   • Ability to use maintenance function of property management software.
   • Maintenance and construction training classes, licenses, and certificates.
