POSITION DESCRIPTION: This position will reside within the BWP system and will travel as needed on BWP system performing various inspection duties including serving as Chief Inspector on various types of projects. This position will report to supervisor of construction and will work closely with E & C department personnel, Field Operations personnel, variuos PMs, CMs, compliance groups and 3rd party personnel. This position will seek to achieve all expectations on safety, work quality, timing and cost on assigned projects.Duties will include performing and inspection of safety sensitive tasks related to working on and around in-service pipeline facilities, receiving materials, ensuring correct materials are on site and installed correctly, assiting in selection, training and development of 3rd party personnel. This position will assure that all applicable company, local, state, federal and customer expectations are meet, including the timely preparation and distribution of required completion documentation.
