Manages external affairs for Life Skills, primarily focusing on employer and alumni relations. Utilizes professional relationships to support student-athlete career development and mentorship programs. Serves as a liaison for career development initiatives.
Manages the programming and services related to the athletic mentorship program. Recruits, trains, matches, and monitors student-athletes and mentors. Establishes processes, assessments, and policies for outreach and data collection. Assists in creating marketing and promotional materials, recruitment presentations, and athlete development services.
Essential FunctionsOversees external partnerships, including all employer relations to source internships, employment, and mentorship opportunities. Identifies diverse internships and manages internship catalog. Leverages relationships and resources to provide innovative experiential learning opportunities and exposure-based programs. Develops and manages job board, ensuring easy accessibility for student-athletes and external professionals. Designs, oversees, and executes all external marketing and communications content for external partners. Collaborates with campus career development units or individuals to expand career development opportunities. Serves as a Life Skills contact for a varsity sports team; meets with student-athletes individually to provide personal and extended professional development support.
