We are seeking an accomplished Sales Director to join our team. This is a permanent position in our Digital Experience division within the Technology industry. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the growth of our business by identifying new opportunities and expanding our footprint in the market. You will need to have a strong understanding of our products and services, as well as a deep knowledge of the industry landscape. This role requires a strategic thinker with a hunter mentality, who is adept at developing and executing go-to-market strategies, and who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market (GTM) strategy to drive growth and increase market share.
2. Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and other lead-generation activities.
3. Manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
4. Lead territory management activities, including market analysis, customer segmentation, and sales forecasting.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales roadmaps and strategic plans.
6. Drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closed sales.
7. Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
8. Participate in industry events and conferences to network and promote the company's products and services.
9. Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics to inform sales strategies and tactics.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 12-15 years of experience in a sales leadership role within the technology industry, with a focus on digital experience.
2. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving sales growth.
3. Exceptional skills in prospecting, negotiation, and closing deals.
4. Experience in developing and executing GTM strategies and sales roadmaps.
5. Strong understanding of territory management and account management principles.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
7. Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
9. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA would be a plus.
10. Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
