Benson Health Clinic is Hiring a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Near Eugene, OR

Benson Health Clinic (BHC) is a private practice behavioral health clinic in Eugene, OR. Founded and operated by Amber Benson, PMHNP. BHC is a welcoming and peaceful environment for clients to obtain individualized mental health care. Currently, BHC is looking to expand the clinic by adding one or two full or part-time PMHNP(s) to our team of thirteen PMHNP's and ten psychotherapists. We are looking for someone that lives in Oregon, you can work remote or a hybrid schedule and come into the clinic and share an office a couple of days a week.

What we offer:

PMHNP compensation is a contracted percentage of the providers NET receivables. This means, for example, that when a PMHNP sees a client for mental health assessment, monitoring, medication management, and/or psychotherapy, that provider codes the client appointment based on standard PMH insurance codes for services provided. When insurance pays the clinic for those services, the PMHNP receives the larger percentage (what has been contracted with the PMHNP, of this insurance payment amount). In Oregon, an independent PMHNP practice state, PMHNPs are paid on parity with MD psychiatrists. On average a part-time provider working 16-21 hours a week will average $9,000 -$14,000 per month. A full time provider working 24 hours a week could average $17,000 per month.

Benson Health Clinic providers delineate their own BHC practice. This means the provider can develop a specialized practice if he/she chooses and choose the length of appointments.

Health Benefits (medical, vison and dental) are paid in full by BHC, for full time employees that are available to see patients 24hrs per week or more.

Billing: Benson Health Clinic has in-house billing department which allows BHC to submit claims on the next business day.

BHC provides Insurance Company Credentialing: Getting “credentialed” onto insurance panels is a tedious and time consuming process. Credentialing/Contracting with insurance companies is handled in-house by administrative staff at Benson Health Clinic.

Schedule: You can create your own schedule.

Additional:

  • Office Ally: Our EMR system which includes scheduling, billing, online ERX.
  • Support staff including medical assistants ( i.e. for VS, prior authorization responses, responding to clients on advice of the provider, refill notifications, etc., we have 1 Medical assistant for every two-three NP's)
