Mechanical Assistant Project Manager - Guam
We are looking for an assistant project manager for our client to help run multiple jobs in an OCONUS setting. This is a direct placement opportunity. Scopes include fire protection, plumbing, and air/water side HVAC. They will be helping the PM to manage their share of superintendents, 100 foreign nationals, and logistics department. You will need computer skills to access project documents required using iPad or laptop.

Duties

• Monitor project schedule.
• Organizing crews and ensuring they are working on their daily tasks;
• Inspects work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications and the adherence to construction schedules.
• Confers with and directs supervisory personnel and subcontractors engaged in planning and executing work procedures.
• Interpreting specifications and coordinating various phases of construction to prevent delays.
• Checking materials, prepare Requisition for materials needed.
• Enforce all safety rules and procedures and rectifies job site hazards in a timely manner.
• Conducts safety meetings and prepares and files minutes.
• Participates in establishing goals and objectives for the field operations of the Company.

Requirements:

• Must have Federal contracting experience.
• 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Must pass background check to enter Gov’t facilities
