Manufacturing Engineer (Aerospace)

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with a minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in aerospace manufacturing engineering or related roles, preferably with manned mission experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in evaluating build flows, processes, and tolerances for manufacturability, ensuring the seamless transition of designs into manufacturing work orders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Evaluate build flows, processes, and tolerances to ensure manufacturability of aerospace components.
• Work closely with design teams to translate design releases into comprehensive manufacturing work orders.
• Align and validate Engineering Bill of Materials (EBOM) to ensure accuracy and efficiency in manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of Critical Design Reviews (CDRs) and adhere to aerospace project milestones.
• Provide expertise and guidance in identifying and resolving manufacturing issues to maintain project timelines and quality standards.
• Continuously improve manufacturing processes to optimize efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and requirements.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing engineering or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with manned mission projects highly desired.
• Proficiency in evaluating build flows, processes, and tolerances for manufacturability.
• Strong understanding of EBOM alignment and validity.
• Experience in translating design releases into manufacturing work orders.
• Familiarity with the Critical Design Review (CDR) process and its significance in aerospace projects.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
