We are seeking a driven and organized Recruiter to join our fun and fast-paced Human Resources team in Ogden, UT.?Our Recruiter will work with Operations to help source and acquire top talent to staff our growing organization.?This position is the first touchpoint between our company and the new hire and is an integral part of the HR team.?The successful candidate will have a keen eye when reviewing resumes and conducting interviews.?To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, as assigned.
Essential Duties
- Recruit, source, and build a candidate pipeline to fill open positions
- Network through industry contacts, associations, employees, candidates and community
- Contact candidates, screen potential candidates, schedule interviews and manage candidate experience from beginning to end
- Interview candidates using industry-standard techniques
- Coordinate and implement college recruiting initiatives
- Effectively use applicant tracking system (ATS) and other software
- Support Human Resources activities
- Work closely with hiring managers to develop position profile and to understand overall needs and requirements. (Description, salary, timing, expectations, etc.)?
- Create a comprehensive job description based on hiring manager specifications to be used to present to candidates and to post to job boards and internal gateways
- Maintain timely documentation of all conversations with candidates within our ATS database
- Develop appropriate sourcing (job posting/marketing) for each role?
- Posting job descriptions on job boards, and tracking posting status and results
- Educate hiring managers on the recruiting process and the roles involved in the process
- Develop and manage strong consultative relationships with hiring managers?
- Perform reference and background checks for potential employees
- Write and forward rejection letters.
- Solicit and document hiring manager and candidate feedback throughout the interview process?
- Document the reason for non-selection of all candidates personally contacted in the recruiting cycle (phone screen or higher manager interview)
- Identify and attend networking activities such as career fairs, professional association meetings, technical schools and outplacement services
- Coordinate college recruiting initiatives and develop ongoing relationships with colleges
- Analyze hiring effectiveness by getting feedback from new hires and hiring managers (verbally or by survey)
- Manage the recruiting process to meet hiring goals through the use of our ATS
- Consistently meet the performance metrics
- Work with Training to schedule and facilitate orientations
- Conduct exit interviews and report the exit trends
- Perform other special projects as assigned
