Home Care RN's needed! Willing Train Experienced Nurses!

BlueBird Care is a leading established Home Health Care Agency. We currently have an opportunity for a full time Field RN in NYC.

• Confer with the Home Care Team including the physician to determine the need for homecare; which includes the development , implementation and subsequent revision of Plans of Treatment
• Conduct initial assessments of the clients health care status and psychosocial needs for service admission, obtain physicians orders and develop individualized Plans of Care
• Supervise all HHA/PCA/CNA staff providing in home services according to policy, including conducting in-service education and orientation programs
• Supervise nurses providing in home skilled nursing care to infants, children, adolescents, and/or adults
• Submit and maintain accurate documentation within the required timeframe

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Salary offered based off experience.

Qualifications:

• R.N. diploma from an accredited NLN program with a minimum of an Associates Degree (BSN preferred). Valid and unencumbered RN license, certificate or registration or credentialing as required.
• One year of home health based experience is required.
• Strong assessment and organizational skills.
• Experience working with geriatric/pediatric population.
• Reliable means of transportation.
