Responsibilities

Cedar Creek Energy is looking for talented Solar Installers. If hired, you will be working alongside our team of experienced solar installers and electricians. This position is a great way to get your foot in the door of the ever-growing solar energy industry!

To work at Cedar Creek Energy you must be responsible, driven, and willing to learn. This is not temporary or seasonal work. We are looking for long-term, career-minded individuals. We are located in Blaine, MN.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Work as part of a team of solar installers and electricians
• Install roof flashings, attachments, racking, and solar panels on commercial projects
• Complete the wiring of solar arrays at the direction of the electricians
• Assess and creatively solve problems
• Act as the positive face of the company while on customers’ sites

Qualifications and Skills

• Ability to work in all types of weather
• Comfortable working on pitched roofs and at heights
• Must be comfortable using both hand and power tools
• Ability to read electrical drawings and blueprints
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to crouch, stoop, and stand; climb ladders and stairs
• Ability to work independently or on a team
• Reliable daily transportation to and from the work site
• A valid Minnesota driver’s license
• Previous solar, roofing, or construction experience is strongly preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $28.00 per hour

Experience:

• Solar, Roofing or Construction: 1 year (Preferred)
