Description: Off-Duty Police Officer required for Armed security

Shift Times: Various; Flexible Scheduling; Part-Time and Full-Time Positions Available

Hourly Pay:

$35 per hour with opportunities for advancement.

Locations: Chicago, Illinois

This requisition has indoor and mobile positions available.

Responsibilities:

• Securing the main entrance
• Access control, visible deterrent
• Respond to emergency situations that may arise
• Help de-escalate potential conflicts
• Assist at the direction of client management

General Summary and Requirements:

A strong work ethic, punctuality, professionalism, and exceptional customer service are required. Off-duty police officers must be qualified, motivated, and dedicated.

As part of Blue Line's team, officers are expected to represent a security force, but an approachable one to help clients, staff, and visitors feel safe while maintaining a positive attitude and environment.

• Protect the general welfare of staff, clients, and visitors. May also follow delivery drivers and offer protection to those drivers during deliveries.
• Provide a positive presence and visible deterrent to crime and violence.
• During an emergency, an officer can act as the first line of response. These professionals can make sure that local law enforcement and staff are informed as quickly as possible about potential risk or developing emergency.
• Identify and report any safety concerns.
• Maintain communication with all appropriate Blue Line and client personnel.
• Document activities, findings, and incidents when necessary.
• Maintain Blue Line's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
• Ability to react appropriately in emergency/crisis situations.
• Must be customer service-oriented and professional at all times.
• Paying close attention to detail.
• Maintain communication with all team members and clients, as needed.
• Meets all team deadlines and responsibilities, listens to others, and cooperates.
• Perform any additional duties as required.
• Other responsibilities and duties may be required related to the position.
