Job Summary: 

Blavity Inc. is looking for an Associate Producer to bring creative ideas to life through the production of digital content for Blavity’s branded campaigns. This position is a (1099) contractor who will support the Creative Production team, overseeing day to day development of digital content, working closely with the Director of Branded Campaign Production on the execution of video production. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of production lifecycles, and has excellent project and time management skills. Additionally, they have an affinity for creative ideation and actively contributes to the development of campaign ideas and concept development. 

This contract will be overseen by the Director, Branded Campaign Production. 

Contractors will be responsible for providing their own equipment, including but not limited to laptop computers, cell phones, or any other electronic equipment required to perform their role.

Responsibilities:

• Administration of the full production process of editorial, video, and social media campaigns, ensuring projects are well executed and delivered on time. 
• Provide support for branded video production from creative concepting to video edit, creative reviews and deliverables management.
• Craft well-articulated plans and points of view to support the delivery and production of creative campaign concepts, including comprehensive client brief decks containing strategies, and creative concepts in a thoughtful, compelling, and cohesive storyline.
• Support the Creative Production team with creation of concept decks, monitoring, and collecting content deliverables across the cross-functional team.
• Develop and manage content production timelines. 
• Support with copywriting for project-specific deliverables.
• Deliver weekly campaign status emails to cross functional teams.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree required, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, English, or related field preferred
• Required Experience: 2 years of on-set production experience in TV, Film, Advertising or related field
• Technologies: Proficiency with deck building in Powerpoint and Google Slides
• Additional Qualifications: 
  • Experience producing various types of digital content
  • Strong leadership skills to coordinate across internal teams and external vendors
  • Understanding of the creative process and production cycles 
  • Highly skilled with leading campaign ideation and execution
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and budgeting skills
  • Ability to reinvent/create something new
  • High curiosity level to understand the digital product we’re promoting and the audience we’re addressing
  • A strong creative vision with an understanding of Blavity Inc.’s business objectives

Details: This is a fully remote (1099) contract position and requires a minimum time commitment of at least 20 hours per week but no more than 30 hours per week for up to 3 months. Candidates must be available to work at least 50% in alignment with Pacific Time Zone.
