As a Retail Store Door Greeter, you will play a vital role in ensuring every customer feels valued and appreciated.

Job Summary: As a Black Sheep Sporting Goods Door Greeter, your primary responsibility is to create a positive and inviting first impression for customers as they enter our store. You will warmly greet customers, assist with inquiries, and provide direction and guidance when needed. Your friendly demeanor and exceptional customer service skills will contribute to our store's reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Warm Welcome: Greet every customer with a friendly and enthusiastic welcome as they enter the store.
Assistance: Offer assistance to customers by answering questions, providing information about store promotions, and guiding them to the appropriate departments or products.
Crowd Management: Ensure that customers enter and exit the store in an orderly fashion, especially during peak hours or special events.
Organization: Maintain a clean and organized entrance area, including sanitizing carts and baskets, and ensuring the cleanliness of the entryway.
Lost and Found: Assist with lost and found items and direct customers to the appropriate location to retrieve their belongings.
Customer Feedback: Collect and report customer feedback, suggestions, and complaints to store management.
Security Awareness: Maintain awareness of store security protocols and assist in monitoring for any suspicious activity, reporting it to store security or management.
Special Events: Assist in the organization and execution of special store events, such as promotions, product launches, or holiday sales.
Customer Engagement: Engage with customers in a friendly and helpful manner, creating a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications:

Exceptional customer service skills.
Friendly and outgoing personality.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm and composed in busy or high-stress situations.
Basic knowledge of store layout and product offerings (training will be provided).
Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting when needed.

Working Hours: Working hours may vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on store needs. Part-time and full-time positions are available.
