Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. As an LPN, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in delivering quality healthcare services to patients and ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Perform patient assessments and document findings accurately
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Assist with procedures such as catheterization, botulinum toxin treatment, and sterile processing
- Provide patient education on health conditions, medications, and self-care techniques
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate
- Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Provide health coaching to patients to promote wellness and disease prevention
Requirements:
- Valid LPN license in the state of [State]
- Minimum of [X] years of experience in a medical office or clinical setting
- Proficiency in performing patient assessments and providing direct patient care
