Job Description:

Responsible for the design, installation, maintenance, upgrade of biomedical equipment and providing the highest level of quality and customer service to ensure patient safety. Provides leadership to the biomedical team for projects, ensuring quality levels are met for critical life support equipment and maintaining appropriate documentation to meet state and federal regulatory requirements.

Education:

• Associate's Degree Related Field Required or experience/alternative degree considered in lieu of education

Experience:

• 3-5 years Hospitals - Required

• 5 years Management Position - Required

Certifications/Licensures:

• AAMI-CBET - Assoc for Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (Cert Biomedical Equipment Tech) - Required or

• ACCE - American College of Clinical Engineering - Required

• Vendor Training - Required

• Equipment Specialties (one or more) Certification - Required

Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of operational properties and diverse functions of multiple medical technology areas, cross functional commonalities and related clinical practices.

• Has expert knowledge of a range of medical devices used by John Muir Health and/or is certified in use of one or more devices.

Work Shift:

$73.09 - $98.66
