About the Position
As a Multifamily Paint and Drywall Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting with drywall and paint projects across all of our multifamily apartment communities. Your primary focus will be on ensuring high-quality workmanship and timely completion of tasks related to painting and drywall repair or installation. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent craftsmanship, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
Conduct drywall repairs, installations, and finishing tasks, ensuring a smooth and professional finish.
Prepare surfaces for painting, including patching, sanding, and priming, to ensure an optimal finish.
Apply paint and other finishes to various surfaces, following established color schemes and design guidelines.
Assist in coordinating and executing painting projects in multiple apartment units simultaneously.
Inspect and identify areas requiring drywall repairs or repainting due to damage, wear, or other issues.
Coordinate with property management and maintenance teams to schedule and prioritize painting and drywall projects.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working with paints, solvents, and other materials, ensuring a safe working environment.
Maintain inventory of painting and drywall supplies, equipment, and tools, and report any requirements for replenishment.
Collaborate with colleagues and contractors to ensure seamless project execution and timely completion.
Keep accurate records of work performed, including project details, materials used, and time spent, for reporting and documentation purposes.
