Job Overview:

We are seeking a Retail Sales Associate to join our team at our store. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers with their retail needs. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are passionate about sales and enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment.

Duties:

- Greet customers and provide them with a positive shopping experience

- Assist customers in finding the right products and making purchasing decisions

- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and company policies

- Process customer transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system

- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns

- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor

- Stock shelves and merchandise products as needed

- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals

Experience:

- Previous experience in retail sales is preferred but not required

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with customers

- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively

- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management

- Familiarity with POS systems and retail technology

- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
