Your day-to-day:

• Post resident payments
• Prepare resident refunds
• Prepare and maintain receivable and billing records
• Communicates with residents/families regarding rate increases
• Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining information from Branches and Residents
• Resolves valid and invalid deductions
• Prepares monthly Medicaid billings for various states and posts receipt of funds
• Assists with special projects and other duties, as necessary, to be named later.
  This may include assisting other areas of the accounting department.
• Other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• One year certificate from college or technical school; or 1 year of related experience;
  or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Medicaid billing experience preferred
• MatrixCare software experience preferred
