Job Title: HVAC Commercial Automation Technician
Qualifications
Understanding of basic HVAC systems, sequences, and applications. Ability to work effectively in a team environment, providing dedicated support to customers. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel & Outlook). Strong verbal and written communication skills. Capability to work in various circumstances, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing ladders, scaffolds, and high-lift equipment, as well as working in ducts, crawl spaces, roofs, basements, above ceilings, and in outside/inside/heat/cold/day/night conditions. Must be able to carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted. Legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer-based sponsorship now or in the future. Pre-hire requirements include a drug test and background check.
Responsibilities
Installation (commissioning), troubleshooting, repair, and programming of building automation control systems. Familiarity with HVAC wiring diagrams. Programming and/or troubleshooting various brands of HVAC controls products, including but not limited to Metasys, Tridium Niagara, Distech, and Wonderware. Experience with BAS communication protocols such as BACnet MSTP, BACnet IP, N2, P1, Modbus, LON, etc.
