Position Description

bePromoting is actively seeking a driven sales and marketing professional to join our team as a Sales Representative. In this position you will contribute your skills to help us increase sales opportunities from both a given book of clients and maximize our new business development efforts to secure new sales. The Sales Representative is responsible for generating new sales leads and increasing sales opportunities from current clients associated with the “be” brands.

Job Requirements

The Sales Representative will be required to seek out new business opportunities by identifying key targets through prospecting, networking and “be” brand referrals. This person will need to build out their sales pipeline and build relationships for long-term opportunities. The Sales Representative will be required to provide daily and weekly active logs to show number of prospects, meetings, proposals and sales through our CRM program. Salary will be determined upon the individual’s knowledge and experience of business development activities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a pipeline of business prospects through networking and using referrals.
  • Build and maintain your own book of business 
  • Prospect new clients in various industry verticals bePromoting is targeting
  • Understand the market of each industry vertical to present proactive ideas at the right time
  • Follow up on inbound leads and sales inquiries with the organization
  • Establish opportunities with current “be” brand clients
  • Represent bePromoting at networking events, organizations and associations
  • Provide weekly and monthly reporting on activities

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in B2C and B2B sales experience
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office including Power Point, Excel and Word
  • Technically savvy and proficient user of the iPad
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills
  • Strong work ethic, highly motivated
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills
  • Must be self-motivated with an ability to take initiative in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
  • Valid state driver’s license
