Position Summary:

The Customer Partner, Strategic Markets Sales will be responsible for the daily and long-term support of specific customers to increase customer profitability for both Benco and the customer. This includes being the liaison between the customer and Benco's internal support. This role will increase customer sales and profitability by having a deep understanding and relationship with the customer to understand their needs and inner workings to provide the best solutions for the customer on an ongoing basis.

Do These Responsibilities Interest YOU?

  • Establishes productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned account(s) and within Benco.

  • Gains a deep understanding of customer account and works to maximize the relationship and two-way profitability between the customer and Benco.

  • Researches current and historical sales to find additional product lines.

  • Suggests alternate product lines such as Benco Brands, to maximize value to customer.

  • Thoroughly reviews back order reports and works with customer to identify alternate products for short and long term.

  • Works with Benco's supply team to ensure we have adequate inventory levels and to understand product availability.

  • Works with Benco's finance department to optimize the profitability of the customer.

  • Works with the strategic markets operations team to identify customer specific deals and to monitor dates to ensure accurate customer pricing. Works with customer on any expiring deals to identify a path forward and ensure accurate ongoing pricing with proper notification and price changes.

  • Monitors manufacturer prices to Benco to identify where pricing has increased by 3% or more, in which case the customer pricing may be modified.

  • Proactively assesses customer needs; while bringing solutions and solution based ideas to address customer needs.

  • Effectively communicates with all Benco personnel within Benco Dentals' Strategic Markets.

  • Displays a high sense of urgency to customer's needs, and other requested information.

Do YOU Meet These Requirements?

  • Four year college degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent work experience.

  • Experience: 1-3 years experience in sales, finance, operations or customer support role is preferred.

  • Prior dental experience working as a Hygienist or Dental Assistant is required.

  • PC proficient. Microsoft Excel and Word knowledge a must.

  • Ability to travel, as needed.
