Behavioral Therapist

Responsibilities:

• Conducts psychological assessments and interventions in an outpatient setting
• May serve child, adolescent and adult populations
• Develop evidence-based treatment plans to implement with patients under the clinician’s care
• Engage the patient and family to develop treatment plans that address identified goals in psychotherapy
• Assess and utilize various treatment modalities (individual, family, group or focused/short session psychotherapy)
• Provide a minimum of 20 patient contact hours per week
• Facilitation of psychotherapy groups as may be necessary
• Develop and lead community education efforts on behavioral health topics
• Participate in relevant and ongoing professional training
• Demonstrates and adheres to PBH’s commitment to care

Education:

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling,

or other Behavioral Health related field.

Work Experience:

• Two (2) years of combined experience working with individuals with substance use and

mental health disorders

Licenses and certifications:

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) (preferred)
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) (preferred)
• AHA BLS
