POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Vehicle Delivery Specialist inspects and cleans new and used vehicles for delivery to Beck Toyota customers. They will also be expected to perform various light janitorial tasks around the dealership, are expected to excel in occasional customer interactions, make supply/errand runs, as well as some occasional off-site work.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Clean and vacuum interior of vehicle; including glass, cup holders, trunk, and all interior spaces.
• Wash vehicle exterior and perform cosmetic fixes when necessary and applicable. This can include buffing, touch-up paint, clay bars and various other approved methods. 
• Move and arrange vehicles on our display lot or storage lot for the purpose of presenting our vehicles in an appealing and organized manner.
• Inspect incoming vehicles delivered to us by transport companies to ensure that they are defect/damage free before we sign the receipt for them.
• Sweep, weed, and otherwise ensure the New Car Inventory area, Customer Parking, and the grass along US 31 are free from litter, weeds, and debris.
• Occasionally will be asked to help the office staff carry things, move office furniture, and various other similar tasks.
• Make dealer-trade runs, fuel-up vehicles, pick-up/deliver parts or similar activities.

This position serves as a good stepping stone into the car business for those with little to no experience looking to make their way into the sales or service side of dealership operations.
