Bear River Charter School, a public K-8 charter school in beautiful Logan, Utah, features an educational program based on the individual needs of each student through a strong focus on basic skills in reading, spelling, writing, and mathematics; active engagement in the areas of science, social studies, art, and physical education; a low student-to-teacher ratio; and emphasis on basic societal values of respect, consideration, cooperation, and honesty. The implementation of evidence-based programs and practices, including Direct Instruction/explicit instruction, data-based decision making and individualization, and school-wide positive behavior interventions and supports are central to the school’s mission of supporting all students to succeed.
We are looking for a leader who positively sets the tone for success and achievement for all students, faculty, and staff while effectively coordinating all educational and administrative activities and programs in collaboration with the governing board. The Director serves as the public face and voice of the school, promotes the school’s mission as described in the charter, and fosters a highly positive and energetic community built on high expectations.
