IntePros is seeking a Senior Linux Administrator for our client, the leading health insurance provider in the Greater Philadelphia market place. This role does have onsite requirements in Philadelphia.
Sr Linux Administrator will join our dynamic RHEL server team as we transition to OpenShift both in our private and public cloud environments. The ideal candidate will possess a strong affinity for technology and expertise in the Linux operating system.
Responsibilities:

• Configure, install, maintain, and upgrade computer systems hardware and software, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Administer and maintain security of operating systems, implementing server hardening techniques and vulnerability remediation measures.
• Provide operational support for the organization's information systems and peripheral equipment, including application servers, database servers, web servers, desktops, printers, and storage devices.
• Administer systems on multiple platforms, including mainframe, UNIX, and LAN environments, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 4 years of experience with RHEL/OpenShift, including:
  • 5 years supporting RHEL/RHEV/Satellite.
  • 3 years supporting OpenShift, including installation and maintenance of clusters.
• Experience working with public cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP), particularly in areas of containerization, automation, and remote systems management.
• Proficiency in server administration, monitoring, and configuration management, with experience in Ansible and scripting considered a plus.
• Experience with CI/CD deployment pipeline integration, preferred tools include Ansible, Jenkins, and Nexus.
• Comprehensive knowledge of containers, cloud technologies, and agile/scrum methodologies.
