Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Branch Manager to oversee the operations of our branch location. The Branch Manager will be responsible for leading a team, driving sales, and ensuring the overall success of the branch.

Duties:

• Direct all branch activities.
• Manage inventory stocking levels and adjust to obtain proper fill rates while striving to avoid dead or surplus stock.
• Execute cycle count procedures to ensure accuracy of inventory counts.
• Achieve HPD (High Performance Distributor) status through strong process management.
• Ensure strong customer service levels are maintained at the branch by leading from the front.
• Ensure that all warranty claims and defective merchandise are handled with proper procedures in a timely manner.
• Involved in all human resource matters relating to the branch, including but not limited to: Recruiting, hiring and separation, wage and salary administration, career development, performance reviews.
• Conduct safety meetings and audits to ensure the branch is operating in a safe manner.
• Manage customer by item pricing overrides on a case-by-case basis.
• Review all system generated reports and take proper action as necessary.
• Accountable for branch sales, gross profit, contribution margin objectives, and asset management.
• Develop and implement branch business plans working closely with the Territory Manager to achieve sales growth.
• Ensure that business objectives for the branch are achieved in the most efficient and cost-efficient manner.
• Aids in development and implementation of marketing plans, product and business promotions, advertising programs, open houses, etc., at the branch.
• Follow proper credit procedures and policies.
• Communicate with employees in an open manner.
• Provide information to all branch employees regarding progress of sales and gross profits, goal attainment, upcoming branch promotions, and corporate updates and communications.
• Assist the accounting team with accounts receivable management and collections.
• Any other duties or special projects that from time to time may be assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must have a thorough knowledge of the distribution business.
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Ability to work with and through people to accomplish needed tasks.
• Ability to get along with diverse personalities with tactful, mature, and flexible behavior while displaying high ethical standards of conduct.
• Ability to motivate and direct the efforts of others.
• Excellent customer relations skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly both in oral and written fashion.
• HVAC knowledge of parts and equipment is preferred.
• College degree preferred with a minimum of a high school diploma.
• Good computer skills and experience including the use of Microsoft Office software such as Word and Excel.
• Outside sales experience is preferred.
