Job Summary: The Roving Maintenance Technician will work to provide maintenance services to properties across Orange County. The technician is part of a large team that is assigned work specified in daily work orders assigned by their supervisor. As a technician, this individual is always required to maintain professionalism and follow company policies. Specific duties may vary depending upon the assignment.

Position Type: Hourly/ Full Time
Pay Range: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour Monthly Auto Allowance
Essential Functions:
• Perform general maintenance such as plumbing, electrical, heating, and air conditioning repairs, carpentry, appliance repairs, glass replacement, etc.
• Responsible for timely completion of all phases of apartment make-ready work, troubleshooting, and repair of most major and minor mechanical systems.
• Responsible for unsupervised, timely completion of occupied apartment service requests in accordance with predefined company and property standards.
• Responsible for all aspects of maintenance of the property, including resident satisfaction and contribution to property occupancy goals.
• Participate in preventive maintenance programs and ongoing maintenance and repair of all mechanical systems of the property, to preserve and maintain the asset.
• When called upon, perform groundskeeper responsibilities.
• Follows all applicable safety rules and regulations.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge.
• Contributes to the team effort.
• Assist with other duties assigned.
Requirements
Skill, Experience, and Education Required:
• High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) with two years related experience performing gardening or grounds keeping work.
• Ability to operate hand tools and equipment used in grounds keeping such as lawnmower, weed eater, shears, trimmer, etc.
• Ability to follow detailed oral/written instructions.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
• Ability to operate various hand and power tools.
• Deal effectively with co-workers and the public.
• Walk, stand and kneel for prolonged periods, climb a ladder.
Travel Requirements: Moderate travel for this position requires you to have reliable transportation and the expectation to work onsite is 100% of the time. Travel requirements for this position may change at any time.
