Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Commercial Real Estate Associate Attorney to join our prestigious law firm. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in handling complex commercial real estate transactions, with a strong focus on large loan financing and expertise in title and survey work. As a Senior Associate, you will be a key member of our Real Estate Practice Group, contributing your expertise to high-profile clients and sophisticated transactions.
This role can be up to 80% remote w/ a ton of flexibility. If you are interested please only apply if you have direct commercial real estate experience.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Transactional Expertise: Demonstrate exceptional proficiency in handling a wide range of commercial real estate transactions, with a particular emphasis on large loan financing, including drafting and negotiating loan documents, purchase and sale agreements, and other related contracts.
2. Title and Survey Review: Conduct comprehensive title examinations and survey analyses to identify potential issues or risks related to real estate properties. Provide strategic advice and counsel to clients based on findings.
3. Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence investigations on real estate properties and other related assets to ensure compliance with legal requirements and identify any potential liabilities.
4. Client Counseling: Collaborate closely with clients to understand their goals and objectives, providing strategic and business-oriented legal advice to support their commercial real estate endeavors.
5. Transaction Management: Oversee and manage the entire life cycle of real estate transactions, from the initial negotiation phase to closing, ensuring all deadlines and requirements are met.
6. Research and Analysis: Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends pertaining to commercial real estate financing and title and survey matters. Conduct legal research and analysis to provide innovative solutions to complex legal issues.
7. Team Leadership: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior associates and support staff, contributing to their professional development and fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
8. Collaboration: Collaborate with other practice groups within the firm, such as finance, tax, and corporate, to provide comprehensive legal services to clients with diverse needs.
9. Client Development: Actively participate in business development activities, including client presentations, networking events, and industry conferences to expand the firm's client base and cultivate lasting relationships.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
3. Minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial real estate law, with a primary focus on large loan financing and title and survey work.
4. Proven experience in managing complex real estate transactions and providing innovative solutions to legal challenges.
5. Strong understanding of real estate financing mechanisms, including debt and equity structures.
6. Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
7. Exceptional attention to detail and analytical abilities.
8. Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
9. Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality legal services and exceeding client expectations.
10. Client-focused approach and ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
