Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sonographer to join our medical team. As a Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients, producing high-quality images, and providing accurate interpretations to assist in patient diagnoses.

Duties:

- Perform ultrasound examinations using specialized equipment and techniques

- Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process to them

- Position patients correctly to obtain the best images

- Adjust equipment settings to optimize image quality

- Analyze images for quality and diagnostic information

- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret results and make diagnoses

- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Skills:

- Proficient in operating ultrasound equipment and related technology

- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology

- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality images

- Good communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing situations

Education and Certification:

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field

- Certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent

Experience:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sonographer in a clinical setting
