Certified Medical Assistant (CMA Float) - Family Care
Fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled Certified Medical Assistant
**Sign-On for Eligible New Hires**
Work location : 2100 Hedgecoxe, Ste 100, Plano TX, 75025 (CMA may be expected to float through Plano, Allen, Melissa, and/or McKinney)
Work hours: Fulltime, Monday - Friday 8am-5pm and 7:30am-5:00pm (occasionally)

Here's What You Need

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
• CMA - Current Medical Assistant Certification (required)
• One year of Medical Assistant experience within the last 3 years (required)
• EMR, Epic experience (preferred)
• ACLS or BLS (preferred)

What You Will Do

• Delivers care to patients utilizing the Certified Medical Assistant Process
• Conducts patient check out, surgery scheduling and post operative calls as primary function of position
• Communicates with patient regarding test results and plan of care by phone or mail as directed by physician
• Provides for patient safety and protection of patient privacy rights
• Ability to multitask
• May work in the front office as needed
• May perform other duties as assigned by practice manager, more senior staff, or as requested by healthcare provider(s)
