Job Summary


SoftwareOne is seeking a proven analyst to join our team and help drive our growth agenda. This role will leverage the analyst's strategic thinking capabilities and insights to identify short- and long-term growth opportunities based on a comprehensive understanding of the industry, the portfolio mix, and customer strategies.

Youll be pivotal in leveraging diverse analytics tools to extract meaningful insights and drive strategic business decisions. Your expertise will be crucial in interpreting complex data to enhance our sales strategies and propel growth initiatives forward. The role is highly visible across sales leadership.

Sr. Analyst, North America Sales Analytics is a member of the Revenue Intelligence team and reports to the Director, Revenue Intelligence.


Roles and Responsibilities


What youll do (including, but not limited to):

  • Analyze go-to-market performance to reveal effectiveness against objectives. Translate the results to build strategic and tactical recommendations through strong data storytelling.
  • Provide insights and offer actionable recommendations in identifying trends, metrics, behaviors, and characteristics to improve retention, acquisition, and pipeline goals.
  • Examine sales metrics to identify cause-effect relationships between sales actions and outcomes.
  • Support the sales forecasting and quota-setting process, leveraging internal and external data based on sales territories, portfolio, and segmentation. Must ensure a high level of accuracy and quality in the pipeline.
  • Provide specific support and guidance to Sales Directors and the sales teams as they interact with our reporting suite to ensure they derive the right insights and actions from those KPIs. Provide analysis and insight to drive business outcomes.
  • Recommend enhancements to existing dashboards and reports that visualize and track performance indicators, trends, and behaviors.
  • Develop data assets and views that can be leveraged for planning and target setting within the Sales Operations team.
  • Elevate the role of data within the North American organization and assist in developing an analytics roadmap.
  • Assist with training and mentoring other Analysts.

This role has a market-competitive salary and an anticipated base compensation range. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidates experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role is also eligible for a performance-based bonus.

Targeted comps will be a mix of base and bonus: 90,000-135,000 USD

We are not able to consider candidates residing in the state of Hawaii currently.

What we need to see from you:

What youll bring


  • 5 years of analytical experience, preferably in the technology or software industries.
  • Proven experience with the development and implementation of revenue reporting and forecasting. Understanding of sales processes and pipeline management.
  • Proven experience in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI or Tableau) to communicate insights effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Ability to identify trends, interpret data, and communicate recommendations based on results.
  • Analytical rigor and detail orientation to ensure accuracy and credibility of insights.
  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills that will drive collaboration across the team and organization.
  • Knowledge of advanced analytics, statistical analysis (i.e., regression, clustering, time series), machine learning, and predictive analytics.
  • Must be a highly motivated self-starter who can work independently and thrives on multi-tasking in a fast-paced work environment.

Education :

Bachelors degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics.
