BayCare Clinic Ear, Nose and Throat is looking for a Medical Assistant / CNA to join our team in Green Bay, WI. We're looking for a compassionate, thoughtful candidate who wants to contribute to a positive experience for all our patients. The typical hours for this role are Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. No Holidays! No Weekends!

The Job:

• Assists physicians and practitioners with patients and patient teaching as directed by a physician.
• Informs nursing staff of any patient concerns.
• May assist in the post-operative execution of physician orders.
• Assists physician with treatment of patients such as: handling of instruments, dressing changes, and removing sutures.
• Assists with procedures as requested.
• Schedules required tests.
• Talks with patients regarding scheduled tests and test results as indicated from charts after review by physician.
• Answers minor medical problem questions for patients.
• Makes telephone calls to patients regarding physician orders and/or prescription medications ordered by the physician.
• Stocks appropriate medical supplies.
• Assists in routine cleaning of patient rooms, waiting areas, and maintains accurate cleaning logs.
• Conducts daily, weekly, and monthly sterilizer tests.
• Accurately documents all care provided to the patient in the patient's electronic medical record.
• Respects and maintains confidentiality.
• Works in a safe, compliant, and ethical manner at all times.

The Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program and a valid certification preferred.
• 6 months - 1 year of prior Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• Must be computer literate, type and familiar with basic software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Ability to scribe a plus but not required.
• Epic experience a plus but not required.
