DSP (Part time) Home Habilitation Aide

We are looking for a Part Time Direct Support Professional to support our 33-year-old daughter with moderate autism in her home and the community. We are looking to fill weekend shifts and a few overnight shifts. She requires assistance with learning life skills, enhancing vocabulary, staying focused and on task, staying engaged with structured activities and would like assistance with finding and participating in fun activities in the community to stay actively busy.

Available Shifts:

Overnight shifts 9:00 PM-7:00 AM (Companion Support)

Saturday and Sunday 9:00 AM-3:00 PM (IHCS)

*Please note the differential in payrate is based upon services

Job Duties include:

• Provide one-one assistance with modeling and mentoring in community and home settings
• Assist with development of social interactions, independent living skills and appropriate behavior management
• Integrating meaningful activities into the daily schedule to encourage community engagement and inspire new ideas and interests
• Communicate and document information and data collection accurately
• Support the individual's goals and outcomes as outlined in their Individual Support Plan (ISP)
• Attending monthly meetings with team and behavioral specialist

Qualifications:

• Must have valid driver’s license
• Must have insured, registered inspected vehicle
• Be willing to submit to criminal background clearances
• Have 1 year experience working with ID/autism

*Payrate: IHCS$23-$25 an hour/Companion overnight shifts $16.00 an hour

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 21 per week
