Toddler House Lead Counselor

Bay Farm Montessori Academy is searching for a passionate, Lead Counselor to lead a toddler room for our Bay Farm Summer Program. School Year hiring available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Montessori experience preferred, but will train the right candidate.
• Department of Early Education and Care Teacher certified for infant/toddlers required
• Strong interpersonal skills are necessary.
• Amazing collaborative skills -children, parents, staff members.
• A positive and open attitude toward all children is a requirement.

Job Duties

• Oversee an assistant counselor to coordinate preparation of spaces, coordination of lunches/snacks, and general support; 
• Rotating coverage of pick-up and drop-off; 
• Ensure a safe and healthy environment in which the students will thrive during their summer break;
• Develop a mutually beneficial relationship with parents of students through ongoing responsible, timely, and respectful communication;
• Participation in staff meetings and trainings;
• Represent the school in a positive light, whether in or out of school.
