Job Summary

Effective July 1, 2024, Douglas Express Delivery (DED) will begin delivering beverages for the Mississippi Alcohol Beverage Commission (ABC) to their licensed sites within the Metro area. We are looking for experienced drivers with at least 2 years of driving experience. This is a “touch” freight position meaning drivers and helpers will be responsible for unloading cases at ABC’s licensed sites.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Deliver beverages to the locations
• Follow routes and time schedule
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
• Interaction with customers at the locations
• Report overages, shortages, damages

Requirements

• Class D License
• No past driving issues.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs boxes
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Must be able to Pass Drug Test

Experience

• 2 years driving experience
• DED performs background checks and drug test at time of hire and randomly during employment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $130.00 - $150.00 per day
