ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Patient Chart completion and Rooming
· Oversees Patient care in office list and room patient with vital signs.
· Rooming patients, vitals, urine analysis, setting up for procedures. patients
· Ensures studies for patients are done and laboratory work has been completed
Patient Scheduling
· Oversees patient schedules continuously to ensure smooth operations
· Ensures excellent customer service when working with patients to schedule appointments (either over the phone or in-person)
· Assist with patient scheduling and re-scheduling process as needed
Patient Visits
· Orchestrates patient flow from check-in to check-out, ensuring smooth visit flow and minimizing delays and bottlenecks
· Exemplary customer service to patients throughout the visit; this includes keeping patients up to date when we are behind schedule, greeting with a smile and a welcome attitude.
Active Patient Sessions:
Check-In: Front Office staff
· Patients are warmly greeted and routed to the correct treatment room quickly and efficiently.
· New patients are routed through the new patient intake procedure accurately.
· Patients who are due for re-evaluations or are reactivating are routed through proper procedures
Check-Out: Front office staff
· Patients receive correct paperwork and supplements and any other retail items needed
· Ensuring correct fees are charged and collected for all services
· Ensures patient’s next visit is scheduled.
· Provides phone support
· Personnel keeps all office areas clean and neat at all times (for example, waiting room, treatment rooms, bathrooms, kitchen area, retail displays, file cabinets, stock, etc.)
· Patients who have missed appointments are sent correct communication via the “missed appointment” system and are rescheduled.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED:
· Reports directly to the Owner/office manager
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
· Directly supervising office staff day-to-day work, as well as scheduling, timesheet documentation, providing performance feedback, resolving personnel issues, and making recommendations for personnel growth, duty or location changes, employee reprimands, and terminations.
Requirements:REQUIRED AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED
· Preferred Education: Medial assistant program
· Required Experience:
· 1-2 years' experience in medical/health office

· Ability to work independently and follow direction
· Ability to analyze problems and develop solutions
· Ability to juggle competing demands and priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail.
· Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
· Must be outgoing, friendly, and love helping people.
· Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience with EPIC Software a bonus.
· Experience with Quickbooks also a bonus.

Pay Scale/Ranges:
$16.00-$41.50/hour (and the hourly equivalent for salaried employees).*
*Employees actual pay rate will depend on a host of factors including, without limitation, job location, specialty, skillset, education, and experience. The patey scale/ranges shown are representative of the pay rates for the job title reflected above, but an employees actual pay rate will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
