The Department of Digital Art and Design anticipates openings for part-time Adjunct Instructors for the Spring 2024 semester at its Old Westbury and Manhattan locations.

Responsibilities

Teach undergraduate foundation courses, such as Shape and Color, Drawing I & II, Form and Space etc., covering media from traditional to digital.

Candidates must have a Master's degree or a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of professional experience in the fields of traditional and digital art and design. Academic experience is a plus.

Candidates should be comfortable with trans-media approaches.

Candidates should have sufficient knowledge Adobe CC, including Photoshop, Illustrator. Experience in Maya is a plus.
